Sciemus wins 10th place in Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100

September 20th 2010 – Sciemus is honoured to announce that the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 list places Sciemus as the 10th fastest growing private technology company in the UK and the only insurance based company in the top 65 rankings.

In 2002 Sciemus set out to unify the latest concepts of knowledge management with cutting edge technology in analytics. The result was the Sciemus SpaceRAT (Space Risk Analysis Tool), an instrument capable of quantifying the technical risk of an operational satellite using detailed historical data and mathematical analytics never before seen in the space insurance sector.

This award comes at a time when Sciemus is preparing to launch the latest in a line of ground-breaking risk analysis models for the Renewable Energy Source sector. WindRAT will provide wind operators and underwriters with the capability to accurately and quickly access the technical risk of wind turbine failure. This will be the first model of its kind, and will come as a huge boost to technological insight for the industry.
